With an unusually busy release schedule in January, 2019 seems to have got off to a good start. Excitingly, the momentum shows no signs of slowing down as February is also full of releases. Here are all the notable game releases for February 2019. Let’s start with the highlights first:

After just over 2 years in Early Access, sandbox adventure game Astroneer will fully release this February. Survive hazards, mine resources, build structures, colonise planets, and more.

Crackdown 3

PC, Xbox One | Sumo Digital | 15th February, 2019 | Link

After years of delays, it looks like the third instalment of the Crackdown series will release this February. The action-adventure game will feature destructible environments, drivable vehicles, RPG elements, and lots of weapons.

Far Cry New Dawn

PC, PS4, Xbox One | Ubisoft Montreal | 15th February, 2019 | Link

Spin-off of the hugely popular first-person shooter franchise, Far Cry New Dawn picks up where Far Cry 5 left off. Expect Far Cry New Dawn to play similarly to previous Far Cry games, but in a post-apocalyptic setting.

Jump Force

A 3v3 tag team fighting game, featuring characters from various manga series. So far, a staggering 39 characters from 16 series have been confirmed. In addition to 2 original characters. Players will also be able to create and customise their own playable characters.

Metro Exodus

PC, PS4, Xbox One | 4A Games | 15th February, 2019 | Link

Third instalment in the Metro series based on Dmitry Glukhovsky’s novels. Unlike its predecessors, this survival horror first-person shooter will tackle more open environments. Expect a story-driven experience with some memorable characters.


PC, PS4, Xbox One | BioWare Edmonton | 22nd February, 2019 | Link

BioWare’s take on the action role-playing shooter hybrid. Players take on the role of a Freelancer sporting customisable exosuits called Javelins. Explore a desolate world, battle ferocious monsters, and contend with extreme weather conditions.

DiRT Rally 2.0

The much requested sequel to DiRT Rally, a racing simulation game that focuses on rallying and rallycross. Featuring a new handling model, a new weather system, stage degradation, and tyre choices.
